Isnt a bad thing. Bundles with AMD sponsored games (TW, DeusX), dx12 api and reducing the prices of 390/X cards (250$?) would kill the nvidia lower gpu segment.

The fx 8350 is a really great processor, I very highly recommend it 4 years ago.

Well considering the game is DX12, it would make sense to bundle it with their FX chip and Radeon cards. God knows a DX11 version of this game would chug on AMD's IPC.

With Polaris behind corner i imagine AMD will want to sell as much 390/390x cards now. With 480/480x having performance ~390x AMD don`t want to compete with own card. I would expect more and more offers in next weeks.

When I bought my 390, I got zilch extra with it. AMD is not known for arranging any gifts to buyers. I suspect this package also comes with some heavy conditions rendering most buyers ineligible for receiving anything on top of the card.

When I bought my 390, I got zilch extra with it. AMD is not known for arranging any gifts to buyers. I suspect this package also comes with some heavy conditions rendering most buyers ineligible for receiving anything on top of the card.
When I got my 270 it had an offer with Battlefield 4... Sometimes they have special offers sometimes they don't.

I wouldn't base my hardware purchase on what software comes bundled with it, at least not from the core of the system (not talking about buying a different optical drive so you get a free version of powerDVD). And usually such bundles are late in the cycle... I waited half a year with my 980 purchase and got nothing for instance. It was only later that they added games to it...

I got Batman with my previous card from Nvidia. I'd have got a game, was it Tomb Raider maybe, if I had got an Nvidia card now as well. I think even the measly 960 was bundled with a game. Only AMD cards were shipping with nothing at all. Or perhaps AMD was thinking that any buyer of 390(X) is getting an electric heater for free alongside the video card functionality so they should be happy as is... It was winter and everything, after all.

There have been bundles at times from both. But it is scarce compared to usa or uk.
