Nice bundle. But is Dead Island 2 ever going to be released? Seriously, it just keeps getting delayed over and over again.

Amd always has the best bundles

Yeah very nice. Both games are on my list.

considering they're holding back the 7800xt this makes great sense...there are a lot of 6800xt (but not so much of the 6800) and 6700xt going for reasonable prices (now). this is a good time to buy a 1440p/ wqhd card

Prices are definitely getting better but I'd rather see a $50 drop and not get the games. I've been keeping my eye on 6700 XT prices since that GPU ought to hold me over for my long-term plans, but I'm not about to get it when the 7000 series could potentially offer something better than that for an MSRP that is lower than today's sale prices. Normally, I don't really like waiting for the next best thing because there pretty much always will be months later, but AMD and Intel have both been making significant changes. This chiplet design is a big deal - the architecture itself might not be all that improved but the price:performance sure ought to be. My criteria is finite and while the 6700 XT has performance that fits my criteria, the 7000 series might do the same at a lower price and wattage. As for Intel, I'm heavily anticipating their low-end 13th gen i5s. It should yield (IMO) the right combination of P and E cores with good efficiency at a much better price than AMD, while still having boost clocks that should offer more than enough performance for whatever I intend to throw at it.

Indeed. I've seen 6700xt going for 400$ sometimes even below that although its a cheapest asrock challenger is still a nice deal. If we only knew that rdna2 would support fsr3.0 it would definetely worth every peny.

absolutely i was waiting for the embargo to lift to decide if i wanted another 6900xt. given that the really nice aib 6900xt's are going for the $700-800 this was worth the wait. and i will be getting a 7900xt. unfortunately i won't be able to head 2 head them because one system is ryzen 3 and one is ryzen 4 (i mean i could, but i doubt if i'll actually have the time to run four sets of tests).

AMD fans should really get rx6000, seeing as rx7000 will not offer any price-to-perf uplift anyways. Who knows with the inflation going on, by the time rx7000 come out their actual street prices will get inflated by a lot.

Is this thru AMD's website only or partners as well? If 7x00XT RTRT is only at 30x0 RTX levels, I'll just wait for the next gen for RTRT and get a 6900XT for 4K raster now. I think any GPU under the 7900XT or 4090 RTX, same and nearly insignificant new performance can be found in the previous gen with the massive inventory anyways.

@schmidtbag was it a rumor or it is confirmed that the lowest skus from the 13xxx CPU series will be rebranded alder lake ? I do not remember but I kinda had it at the back of my mind like that .

Not sure honestly. If the lowest sku is like that then I'm not going to bother. I basically just want a 13600K but without the inefficient clock speeds. Perhaps the 13400 would be a rebranded AL but if the 13500 isn't then I may go for that. Of course, that depends on how AMD responds. If they can release an 8c/16t AM5 CPU for $300 then I'll get that instead. So far that looks unlikely.

I also prefer a nice price cut over some freebies. About prices cuts, i`ve read in other sites that in some european countries, the 6900xt is priced as low as 630€ but here in portugal the cheapest ones costs more than 900€, so what gives???

I just looked at AMD's website. It is 329 USD for the 5800X3D right now and the 6900XT is 649 USD! That combo is less than the price of the 7900XT!! Throw on a B series MB with some DDR4-3600CL14 RAM for a very good upgrade. My jebus that is a steal... Both are at MSRP where I am!!! Edit - added link: https://www.amd.com/en/direct-buy/ The 6900XT is 679 USD, sorry, was off by 30 USD but still a good price for NEW!!!!

the best part is it's direct from AMD i just ordered my AM5 board which imo is a great balance of needs vs wants - the MSI B-650 M-A wifi it's going for $220. i don't have time to wait on the ITX boards so the matx works for me. there is the Asus B-650 wifi at or near the same price for full ATX. but for you it gets better because for less "dollars" you get B-550 where the wifi (ax) variants are almost all under $200 that is a fully modern and kick ass system

yeah, b450 belongs in the past.

As always when AMD is not selling. I do not wonder, I would not buy amd gpu too. Regreting my 6700xt with shitty drivers. Since 22.4.2 unusable drivers with degraded graphics beyond level of playability. I switch teams from time to time, but this time amd made me really pissed of.
