I bought a R9 series card when they launched.
So it has nothing to do with a newer card.

He never said it had anything to do with a new card. New bundles and offers are always put together. Hell, when I bought my Sapphire HD7950 Flex there wasn't a bundle. AMD quite literally launched the Never Settle bundle the day after. I was annoyed for sure, but the card was still worth it even without the games. If it hadn't been I'd not have purchased it in the first place.

Btw sorry to hear that mr Yellow that also happened to me, although I don't think getting free games here in Estonia is possible rofl, as in.. whether it is available in the retailers (well there are some but.. rarely, and the AMD bundle was never in tbh.. if I recall correctly lol).
Anyways.. maybe you have some way of .. getting those games? Not sure? Just yeah, maybe your retailer is merciful or something. 😀

I've been thinking of grabbing BF4, but I doubt I will to be honest. Not hugely into FPS titles. I've barely gamed of late, I played a little Colonial Marines MP the other day (I like playing as the Aliens in MP, sue me :P) and I think that was the first time I've gamed on the PC since doing a Fallout: NV playthrough. Really need to make time to do a little more though, didn't build this PC to have it sit around doing nothing! I'd be up for playing something though, if we can decide on something.

Don't forget, you are getting compatibility support for Mantle API on your 7950. AMD could of just given this support to the newest generation if they so chose too. Much better deal than just a few games in my perspective.

Same thing happened to me when the GTX670 came out. Fortunately I bought from Newegg, gave them a ring and they hooked me up.

i just bought a 290 last week, feel a bit daft now that i rushed out and got one as soon as they came out. i agree that youre buying the card first and formost but surely it wouldve been better for customer relations if they had the forsight to include a code to redeem with the new cards when the bundle came out.
brand loyalty should be at least of some interest to them to maintain .... leaves a bit of a bitter taste in what was a happy purchase

i think having at least one title like thief/bf4 inc is much better from amd. (prev games titles a bit meh).
re nvidia you get batman+ass creed4 which I think are def worth playing..so it does factor in a bit. (if you are after your money's worth).

I picked up another HD 7850 yesterday, without knowing of this, but it looks like a should be able to get Thief now since it's in the Silver Reward segment... I guess I'll see once the box gets here.
