Yogi:

Speaking of AMD APU's. Is there a review of one of the Hades Canyon NUC's in your work pile? Or is Intel still being a moody teenage shut-in and not talking or sharing with anyone in Europe?
What is the history of this? I must have missed something.

It's AMD GPU and Intel CPU in the same package, it sound good but right now i haven't seen one in our continent... But you have those "generic" review to wait Hilbert's review: https://www.pcworld.com/article/3267074/computers/intel-hades-canyon-nuc-nuc8i7hvk-review.html https://www.techradar.com/reviews/intel-hades-canyon-nuc https://www.tomsguide.com/us/intel-hades-canyon-nuc-8i7hvk,review-5287.html

maybe I am wrong but these new APUs are available to the system integrators and OEMs, not for retail, as it for now.

I'd put one of these babies into a Zotac MiniPC and slap it on my 55" screen. Hopefully it will be available sooner than later and at a decent price.

Intel is a lot of things but not sharing for the right price is not one of em! I mean they are into selling buisness after all! Now food for thought ...the only ones that sell hades canyon equiped products are intel , dell and hp... the last 2 also are the ones that allegedly did not sign on the gpp... makes me think maybe nvidia was not targeting amd but intel also ! The hades seem to be superior combo than i3 /i5 +1050 for ultra slim notebooks.

Sorry I should have been more clear. I meant sharing as in providing review samples to the tech writers in Europe like HH. Who to his credit has been pretty bipartisan on the topic which must be quite an infuriating situation for him
