Cloud gaming is going to get interesting once developers start coding specifically for it. I picture a future where a stream of branching prerendered paths are sent to your device and your local input pulls out the matching path. While it would be a giant PITA to do this for a FPS I can see fighting games taking advantage of this since there are only 2 sets of input and at any given frame there are limited next frames. Everyone talks about lowering latency and while that will help, massive bandwidth and prerendered paths could make latency less of an issue.

Networking companies sucks, it took more than 10 years to move from 1Gbit to 10Gbit and we are not still here, so it would take almost forever, to make network infrastructure good enough for really stable, responsive gaming. Some home networking hardware is pure trash too.. and without realy good site and reviews for such hardware, we are stuck. We need something like Guru3D for home networking HW, i dont know such site.
