It literally looks like a 3080 with a 4080 label on it. Gotta be fake coz Nvidia always changes the cosmetic appearance of their cards with each new generation.

I'ts a random GPU bag with the typical symbols but....it has a model name printed? Why not Geforce RTX 4080? Or just a sticker with a S/N, EAN, UPC, whatever.
Just zoom on the picture, you willl see it's a plain text with no cramples behind a translucent layer.

They definitely didn't just use MS paint and type RTX 4080 over an RTX 3080. Yup, 100% legit, totally not fake at all.

I've worked in tech HW and it can be real with a mock up face plate. Rehashing parts is not unusual such as the cooler or shroud for testing.
But it cannot be determine if the PCB and GPU are real 4xxx series.

That's not a 3080, the PCI bracket is shorter than the PCB.
If it's a photoshop, it's from the 3090(ti) cooler.
Also fan looks bigger, because the silver has cutouts.

Funny how the new cards these days just come in a crummy plaggy bag. What happened to the purposeful thick anti static grey bubble bags. Even the quality of the box packaging has gone right down. Buy a new card these days its like you purchased a counterfeit.
