idk about MSRP... but as a monitor there is nothing to dislike. at that price (converted to US $) you can consider q-oled. likewise oled and even mini-led (@ price range white mini-led backlight on fast ips) i had the first of the Agon series @32" (VA) for four years, which for a consumer is more like 10 so the quality is there and AOC makes a good chunk of the ips panels on the market anyways.

Agree. To me if a monitor is premium it needs to be OLED or mini-led. There is no reason not to have much higher contrast levels at this price point. Its not like you cant add a mini led backlight solution to these same panels. They are just being greedy assuming the consumer is stupid which they might be right.
