It will easily do 80hz and maybe 85hz. Its easy to do 30-80hz freesync range on these. I can tell you right now, even only 80hz feels really good on my 21:9 freesync. Its gonna be a while before we have cheaper 100+hz high res 21:9 above 2560x1080 res. Ive seen 2560x1080 on a 34 inch 21:9 and it did look that good. But the 100hz was nice.

Unique Resolution It's definitely a unique resolution for that aspect ratio. The extra pixels are welcome, as long as it doesn't negatively impact visuals in games or programs. Either way, though, this probably wouldn't be at the top of my list at $1,299.

Can you use it with Nvidia card and still increase the Hz?
Yes, I did on my freesync 21:9 with a gtx 970. Had it @ 80hz from 60hz.

Looks pretty cool. I doubt my RX480 could drive it in games though. And Vega is still 4-5 months away.

My fury struggles to push this res in games above high settings and stay above 30-35 fps. But its fantastic for older games that can be maxed out with this res.

1299 (USD) is not that bad for such a large panel, compared to the exact same panel in the LG38uc99 at a similar price. Back in 2006 i spend similar money on a Dell 3007wfp, and it is still going strong. Screens tend to be a more long term part compared to GPU or CPU. Large LCDs have come along way in 10+ years but this size and form factor isn't going to appeal to everyone. So im guessing a supply/demand/cost formula is how they came up with the price. A quick look at 2560x1600 30" displays today are still not that far off price wise. They have way more features now like internal scaling, actual OSD more than just 1 DVI port (the 3007wfp was bare bones). Acers Predator 4k (newegg) is $1288, the 34" preadtor ultrawide is 1099. So the pricing is not that far off. This size and form factor is most likely to be my next screen, i am kinda waiting for my 30" to die but it just keeps going, i may just have to bite the bullet and upgrade but i will wait till this one is more available.
