Christ, and I thought 1080p on a 15" screen was bad, need to wear glasses to see it.

What's annoying is that most of these companies are putting out high resolution displays, which is nice, but they aren't properly calibrated so the colors are usually way over-saturated, they suffer from backlight bleed, consistency problems, etc. I'm kinda glad Apple pushed this on here though, 300+DPI should be the industry norm.

Then I lost screen space by everything being bigger. Oh the conundrum. Usually I just set the resolution to 720p/768p.

So you don't like more sharper image? With higher PPI you could get aliasing free images in games too without using any form of AA.

In a game I would put it at the highest, they usually scale text and stuff, this is just using windows and internet. The screen is rarely used though, mostly it's my tv.

so high res and probally backed by a low end Integrated GPU so whats the point.
