Idk, I notice going from 60-144hz on the desktop - like I installed 11 recently and soon as I moved my mouse and saw it stutter along I knew it reverted. I definitely notice it in games but I think around 144hz is where I kind of lose interest - above that there is diminishing returns to the point where I can't tell.. honestly even above 90 it's starts to diminish. Same with my phone - my S21 Ultra does 120hz but it's not that much different from my 90hz Pixel prior. I do wish office monitors would hit 75/90 as standard. I use Dell Ultrasharps at work and 60hz on the desktop is meh for me but for most people it's fine so w/e

Also compared in Diablo2 and Diablo3.....still can't see a difference. Some of us will never notice a difference. That's a simple fact that people pushing high refresh monitors refuse to accept.
What about G-Sync / FreeSync? 144 Hz should provide similar responsiveness, but with tearing. Which again should not to be too pronounced and much better than 60Hz tearing. Then again I'm not a fan of high refresh gaming, especially if it's not fps limited for the simple fact it that the heat goes exponentially up with FPS. 70fps Free Sync is my sweet spot.

I've never even noticed a difference between FreeSync on and FreeSync off. The only time I've seen any difference between 60hz and 144hz was in 1 single game that forced a 60fps limit. Most of that I attribute to my GPU clocks bouncing around. Allowing that 1 game to run uncapped allows my GPU to maintain a more stable clock speed instead of jumping between ~500mhz and it's boost clock constantly. Outside of that 1 game, I've noticed no difference what so ever. I'm not disagreeing that SOME people may notice a difference. My point is that not everyone is going to. It doesn't matter how many times the "high refresh" fanatics push that claim, it's always going to be a lie. There will always be a set of users that will never notice the difference.
