do you know how many people get suddenly rebooted for computer updates at times they are actively using their computer under windows 10?
or the rates in which issues occur for this rapid update service?
how major updates introduce major issues that go unfixed for the entire lifetime of that build?

Never happened to me. A pop-up shows reminding the user that a reboot is required.
So many were insistent on superiority of XP when 7 was out. Bet you were one of them.

This does not happen and never occurred to me or anyone I know with W10.
There are many settings to avoid such a thing. And I mean native W10 settings not hacks. In Creators Update you can even stop updates for new features for up to 365 days and security updates for up to 30 days. It also gives a prompt to snooze updates.
Windows 7 is becoming irrelevant and will be phased out. Eventually everyone will move to Windows 10 sooner or later.

No, that number is bloated. I use 3 installations (2 physical + 1 virtual).
Many people who have PC own more than one. Or run licensed virtuals for testing.
As for statements like this. I dislike many things on W10, but putting W7 on tablet proves how much better W10 is.
(And linux there spanks them both.)

I do know people who get force updated. A colleague in class needed the laptop to work and had to stare at the update screen for 3 ****ing hours (all the class time).
I'll be one of those lumping with W7 till 2020 and I'm proud of it. I held to XP as long as I could and will do the same with W10 because the upgrade patch is ****.

Right now the worst part about 10 as far as I'm concerned is the release of upgrades twice a year. As if we've nothing better to do than have our machines upgraded forcibly on their schedule and then put up with their bugs. Meh.
300 million is indeed pretty low considering it will also include xbox consoles, after being free for an entire year, and two years from launch.

I was one of XP supporters until I actually tried Windows 7.
I am still Windows 7 supporter after I actually spoiled time multiple times on Win10.
Win10 is ****. It's not an operating system, it's a Wasting System.

lol, you guys who use that good bad list edit it to suit your argument, there was no Windows 9, so with your list Windows 10 should be good

No one is forcing you to Upgrade.
I still havn't installed the Creators Update. I will do so once Bugs have been fixed.

O rly? Microsoft does. On my 1511 installation, 1607 was being forcibly installed repeatedly even though it failed everytime and the delay upgrades policy was configured at its maximum setting.
