Screenshots of PlayStation 4's user interface
Still no photos of the product itself, but here are high resolution screenshots of the PlayStation 4 user interface. The screenshots show a user profile page, some of the share functions, the video editing app, screenshot sharing, and more. Check out the full gallery after the break.
Among the images, you’ll see the home screen, user profiles, friend feed, video trimming and sharing, gameplay streaming, and how it will look accessing that content from mobile and tablet devices. There’s a game page for Knack on one of the tablet screenshots, too (pictured).

Edit: It's fixed now.
Like everything else from Sony, I'm not impressed. Let's see what MS has in response.
It's a user interface; what did you expect?
Although, the PS3's XMB was far from perfect - it's lack of proper folder nesting was annoying when it came to sorting out my music by artist then album for example (I couldn't basically) - it was vastly superior, faster and had a nice minimalistic style that meant it has remained unchanged since launch unlike my Xbox 360's which has had three or four major revisions, with each one worse than the last IMO. The Xbox 360's dashboard is also cluttered, sluggish and infested with adverts. I expect that Microsoft will adopt Windows 8's Modern UI or something similar for the Xbox 360 and I'm none too keen on it on my PC to be honest...
As long as the PS4's user interface does what it is meant too with speed and a sensible, clear layout without intrusive ads then I really don't care what it looks like.

And thankfully this time around you'll be able to actually do stuff in the mid game pause menu. Music player please.
