Nvidia cancels Nvision 2009

Such a shame really. Last year NVIDIA organized NVISION 08, an event all about everything visual computing related. As you guys know, we were there and enjoyed the sheer amounts of technology and gaming over there very much. It's closely related to everything GPU related and as such a very refreshing exhibition. We reported widely about this event.

Nvidia has decided to cancel plans to host Nvision 2009 in order to reduce costs, according to the company. Nvidia originally planned to hold Nvision in the third quarter, but the economic decline has reduced the number of attendees considering visiting the show, Nvidia said.

The chipmaker added that it will still host several smaller forums in the fall.
