Sound levels. Now with case open at roughly 75cm away from the chassis and with all fans enabled you'll see a sound pressure of roughly 40 DBa. Which is a normal noise level. Now here's something interesting, next photo please.
With the case closed, the chassis makes more noise. The fan mesh is sucking in air which creates an audible noise.
