We are testing the coolers in a case to recreate a real-life scenario. Here, you can see how many wires you will need to manage. In this scenario, there is only one fan cable, so it’s a straightforward task.
The biggest (literally) drawback can be the size of the cooler (although it's "only" a single-tower); it can be harder to handle it in some smaller cases.
The radiator’s pressure is adequate, the base is even, and there shouldn’t be any issues with contact with the processor’s IHS. Here’s a small teaser of what the Scythe Mugen 5 Black Edition looks like in the system. More photos on the next page.
