Cubeor Kanto Wood mATX CHassis
A new epoch hath begun?

Gone are the days of dull, beige PC cases that serve only as functional boxes. In today's world, modern cases are crafted not just to safeguard internal components, but to also showcase the user's unique style. Vibrant lighting, eye-catching paints, premium materials, and artistic elements now contribute to the selection process, with some designs taking the marriage of art and functionality to new heights. Today a review from a petite startup in Finland. Meet the Cubeor Kanto, a PC case that effortlessly doubles as an artistic centrepiece. Constructed from authentic wood, each Kanto is a one-of-a-kind piece, with the wood serving as more than just a superficial veneer—it forms the side and top panels, with only the hinges crafted from metal.

A matte black steel frame fuses the organic with the industrial for a striking effect. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the Kanto is a highly functional mATX case capable of housing powerful hardware. It supports mATX and ITX boards, a 280mm AIO, multiple cooling fans, and a 400mm, 4.3 slot GPU. With the GPU near the case's air intake, cooling is efficient, and the vertical layout eliminates GPU sag issues. Jarkko Surakka, Cubeor's owner, designed the Kanto to offer practicality and exceptional air cooling, making it an attractive addition to any work desk. The case's top section provides quick access to motherboard I/O ports and peripheral devices, a feature often lacking in most PC cases. Although not marketed as an SFF case, the Kanto is the ideal solution for evolving high-end SFF systems grappling with increasing power usage and heat management challenges. Exclusively available on Etsy in the US, the Kanto may push the boundaries of SFF sizing for mATX cases, but it offers a distinctive and stunning choice for those seeking a PC case that is both practical and a masterpiece of design. It's available in many finishes to your liking.
