Albatron

From here on the article will slowly move into a pictorial as I have load's of photo's to show you.

Albatron had a very nice stand in Hall 23 this year. 2005 has not been good for them and they did not release a lot of new products. Things are looking good for 2006 though. Let's have a quick look.

Obviously they are supporting the new series 7 products from NVIDIA

PCB color might be changed to their house color blue though and they are looking into other cooling techniques.

Much like this. Passivlely cooled is the keyword. And that's something I can applaud very much.

One of the most impressive mainboards at display is their up and coming Intel 975 based PX975X

Now that mainboard is going to be special ! Extremely highly overclockable with a digital clock (no PLLs), passive cooled. Two ATX power supply connectors so you could feed two graphics cards over the mainboard (are run one as backup), 10x Serial ATA, 3x Parallel ATA, 2x PCI-Express graphics slots and some very nice other features which we'll tell you all about in a review. As this board we MUST have a look at.

It's aimed at the enthusiast PC user demanding a very high quality product .. and hey .. that's us folks. Extremely impressive at a price of ~ 249 USD !

Albatron is focusing very much at HTPC, small factor mainboards also. They show a large amount of SFF products based on mini- and micro ATX.
