DX12: Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE, published by Electronic Arts. Despite its name, it is the fifteenth installment in the Battlefield franchise. The game is set in the period of World War I and is inspired by historical events. Players can make use of World War I weapons, including bolt-action rifles, automatic and semi-automatic rifles, artillery, flamethrowers, and mustard gas to combat opponents. Other graphics option available are texture quality, texture filtering, lighting quality, effects, post-process, mesh, terrain, undergrowth, anti-aliasing and ambient occlusion as well as some upscaling functions. The game does look really good at Ultra quality settings. We flick the quality settings to Ultra before each resolution run and disable VSYNC. Games typically should be able to run in the 40 FPS range combined with your monitor resolution. From there onwards you can enable/disable things if you need more performance or demand even better game rendering quality. The game is tested in D3D12 mode.
