Tesla Develops Own Self-Driving AI Chip - Removes NVIDIA

A Tesla car has several computers, at least one of them, (the MCU that controls that big screen) over time was NVIDIA based. Last year that MCU was already replaced with an Intel-based MCU for the newer models. There is one computer for the basic core functionality, and then another one for autopilot called the FSD, slowly advancing towards self-driving.

Due for a release this week, the GeForce GTX 1650 is now spotted widely at retail, and from that photos, are leaking. The price tag should be roughly US 159,- and the card is fitted with 4GB GDDR5 memory. Photos now emerged from ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI.

AMD Zen 2: Production yields for Ryzen 3000 Dies at 70 percent

Whenever you fab a wafer with CPU/GPU dies (or whatever they are fabbing), there are always defects. So if a wafer has 200 CPUs dies and 50 are functional, your yield is 25%. Well, the yield of the Zen 2-cores should be good, roughly 70 percent of the chips are fully functional.

AMD's new APU generation, codenamed Picasso seem to be making their way towards the desktop PC platform. The 12 nm refresh of the APU was launched at the beginning of January 2019 for notebooks, and later as a Pro solution. Now there are first photos of these APUS that seem to be released as Ryzen 3 3200.
