Microsoft Corp. said Friday that CEO Steve Ballmer plans to retire within the next 12 months, depending on when a successor is chosen. "There is never a perfect time for this type of transition, but now is the right time," Ballmer said in a statement. Yesterday I already posted this news item, however on GamesCom Roccat was present as well. I added a couple of photo's of the product to this post as I have been playing around with the headset myself. The Xear based headset functions as a true 5.1 headphones set. it sounds pretty great, will get advanced properties and EQ. Funny is the built in Bluetooth so during gaming you can take a call from your mobile photo. Since the  XTD 5.1 Digital Gaming Headset functions as USB soundcard the control pos will also get speaker outputs. Interesting stuff. Anyway, have a peek at the photo's I took.
