Welcome to Guru3D's Rig of the Month !

We just adore PC relalated hardware & think you do too. And sometimes some you guys really make a PC that really stands out. We ask you to answer a few simple questions and send in photo's of your rig. Each month we'll have a look at the entries and perhaps pick you and post your PC with photo's and everything here at Guru3D.com Here you can find out what you need to do and win a nice prize courtesy of Corsair.

Guru3D Rig of the Month is sponsored by Corsair

Each month one winner walks away with a cool prize. This month we give away a platinum certified Corsair HX750i power supply. The power supply is rather extraordinary in performance and its Platinum 80 plus certification, the one massive 63 Amp 12-volts says it all really. Superb for mainstream to high-end and even multi-GPU solutions. Corsair also embeds their LINK technology into the PSU. That means you can monitor the PSU with the help of software, things like PSU efficiency, power usage or simply to adjust the fan RPM. The winner also recieves a fully sleeved cable kit (cables + 24 pin).

Note - This competition runs world-wide, however due to complex delivery and customs issues Russia, South America and Africa will not be shipped a prize, instead Corsair will give you a 100 USD consolidation prize as compensation. We also cannot ship to conflict zones. That said, let's do some modding !

A man and his Build

The Guru3D rig of the month June 2015 is a rig from a real gamer, not extraordinary in the sense that you couldn't do it yourself. But pretty darn nice if I may so.

1. What is your name / nickname /age / occupation?

My name is Jonas V Mikkelsen. Online Im better known as "Ottetal". I am a nineteen years old server a a local restaurant

2. What did you first come here for?

The first time I found Guru3d, was around the launch of the original GTX Titan, that had an incredible amount of hype around it. I remember this specific site having an incredible amount of "leaked" material on it. Due to its 1000 dollars price tag, I never ended up switching my 7970ghz editions I had at the time out

3. What do you mainly use the system for?

As I am still in school, it serves two different purposes. On one hand, I have the schoolwork. I use three monitors, and the ability to put an entire .PDF file on one monitor while having a browser on a second and writer application on the last, is great. I also use the rig in a schoolsense to create 3d models/renderings of stuff for school. Mostly though, I use my laptop at school to create the file, and send it to the desktop as a render farm.
