DX11: Anno 2070

DX11: Anno 2070

It's 2070 and the world has changed. The sea's rising level has harmed the coastal cities and climate change has made large stretches of land inhospitable. In Anno 2070 the game offers a new world full of challenges, where you will need to master resources, diplomacy and trade in the most comprehensive economic management system seen yet in the Anno series.

An example of what level and city complexity we test in, this level is used to measure performance.

This particular test has the following enabled:

  • DX11
  • Very high Quality mode
  • in-game AA enabled
  • in-game AF enabled

Our scores are average framerates so you need to take a margin in mind for lower FPS at all times. As such we say 40 FPS for this game should be your minimum, while 60 FPS (frames per second) can be considered optimal.

The Titan is 20% away from the dual-GPU GTX 690 once it is at 2560x1600, this is the generic consensus here though, roughly 20% performance in-between a dual-GPU GTX 690 and the GTX Titan with it's single processor.

And above the differences measures in-between the four cores Core i7 965X @ 3.8 GHz and six cores Core i7 3960X @ 4.6 GHz
