Corsair K63 Wireless Mechanical KeyboardAnd K63 Gaming Lapboard

Corsair has released their new K63 Wireless keyboard, it's a tenkeyless design that saves on space and is easy to take along with you. However it's primary design was not mobility, it's intended for gaming, and in specifically paired with the compatible K63 gaming lapboard with you sitting in front of your telly. To be able to improve on that, this keyboard is wireless. And that wireless implementation is downright terrific thanks to Bluetooth. Next, to that, it's very responsive and has a proper range of a good 6-7 meters, that gives gaming on your Ultra HD telly on that big-screen a totally new meaning. While this is a keyboard review, we'll also include some photos of the lapboard that you can purchase separately. The keyboard itself as you will notice lacks numeric keys and adopts Cherry MX Red, the BLUE LEDs are equipped as a standard in the backlight, so there's no RGB functionality. The wireless connection supports Bluetooth 4.2 (2.4 GHz and 128-bit AES wireless encryption) but can also be connected through USB if you'd prefer that.

Despite that small form factor the keyboard comes in a nice looking black outer shell/design and has the familiar feeling that you are used too with Corsair keyboards. Next, to it being wireless, you can also opt to use a rubber USB cable, also used for charging of course. These pure gamers bred mechanical keyboard (Cherry MX Red) get per-key back-lighting, just one color though, a blue LED per key, however, you may a bit of animation or just turn them on/off. Should you not pair it with the lapboard, well the keyboard comes with a detachable full-sized wrist rest as well. The specs overall remain the same, including a 1000Hz polling rate, 100% anti-ghosting, and the media keys and USB pass-through on the rear remain too. The product will be priced at 119 USD/EURO (MSRP), but the combo is what it is all about, with the K63 lapboard at 59 bucks. Let's have a peek at that first ... and then browse our way into the review.
