The latest update for Farming Simulator 22, version 1.13.1.1, now includes support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 3 on PC platforms. This enhancement incorporates advanced upscaling technologies designed to improve frame rates in the game.

The process involves rendering the game at a lower resolution and then employing sophisticated techniques to upscale the image, maintaining quality while boosting performance.  This is particularly beneficial in scenarios with high-demand settings. AMD's FSR 3 builds on the capabilities of its predecessor, FSR 2, by adding Frame Generation technology. This feature, which can be toggled in the game's graphics settings, creates additional frames to further elevate the frame rate. Essentially, it inserts a new frame between two existing frames, potentially doubling the frames per second (FPS) under optimal hardware and setting conditions. It's important to note that for effective use of AMD FSR 3 with Frame Generation, a baseline of 60 FPS is recommended before activation.

FSR's compatibility extends beyond AMD graphics cards. As an open-source technology based on industry standards, FSR can be utilized on a wide range of modern and older GPUs. This makes it accessible for various hardware configurations to enhance the gaming experience in Farming Simulator 22. For specific information on GPU compatibility, users are advised to refer to AMD's official website.

Farming Simulator 22 not only supports FSR but is also among the first games to integrate both the initial and the latest versions of this technology, including the newly introduced frame generation feature.
