TP-Link Releases Deco BE65: A New Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 7 Router

TP-Link announced the release of their latest product, the Deco BE65. This router is compatible with Wi-Fi 7 and features a tri-band mesh system. The Deco BE65 offers coverage across the 6GHz band with a 320MHz channel width capable of up to 5,760Mbps, a 5GHz band delivering up to 4,320Mbps, and a 2.4GHz band with speeds up to 574Mbps. The router supports seamless mesh networking and is backward compatible with the Deco BE85 and Deco BE75 models. Networking capabilities include four 2.5 Gigabit WAN/LAN ports and a USB 3.0 port, which can facilitate connections to media servers, Apple Time Machine, and Samba servers. The Deco BE65 employs robust encryption protocols including WPA-Personal, WPA2-Personal, and WPA3-Personal.

Additionally, TP-Link will simultaneously release the Archer TX50UH, a USB slave device that supports Wi-Fi 6. The dimensions of the Deco BE65 are 107.5 mm wide, 107.5 mm deep, and 176 mm high. The product comes with a three-year warranty. The Deco BE65 will be available in two configurations: a single-pack priced at approximately $272 USD and a two-pack priced at approximately $496 USD, with sales beginning on May 16, 2024. The Archer TX50UH will also be available at a price of approximately $60 USD.
