Bethesda has unveiled an upcoming update for Starfield, initially available to beta testers on Steam. This update carries significant importance as it brings support for NVIDIA's DLSS technology, along with several other enhancements. Subsequently, these improvements will extend to Xbox Series users and the broader PC gaming community.

GeForce RTX graphics card owners will have the privilege of being the first to harness the advantages of NVIDIA's latest innovations, including DLAA and Reflex technologies. Moreover, for gamers equipped with 40-series RTX cards, a frame-shifting option is included.

Bethesda underscores a crucial recommendation: when enabling DLSS frame generation, it is advisable to deactivate vertical sync (VSync) to fully exploit the performance enhancements. A noteworthy detail that will surely delight fans is the newfound ability to consume in-game food and beverages seamlessly, eliminating the need to navigate through menus. This enhancement directly addresses a longstanding request from the gaming community.
