SK Hynix announced the release of two new products: the Tube T31 stick-type USB SSD and the Haechi H01 SSD heatsink designed specifically for the PlayStation 5.
The Tube T31 is a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A SSD offering transfer speeds of up to 1,000MB/s, allowing for 100GB of data to be transferred in approximately 2 minutes and 30 seconds. It is available in two storage capacities: 512GB and 1TB.
The dimensions of the SSD are 92.5mm by 30.5mm by 14mm, and it weighs 34 grams. The device is designed to be durable, featuring a shock-resistant housing capable of withstanding drops from up to 2 meters, and comes with a two-year warranty. The Haechi H01, on the other hand, is a specialized SSD heatsink for the PlayStation 5 models CFI-1000/1100/1200, crafted using CNC processing technology. It is designed to expand the surface area by approximately 2.3 times relative to standard M.2 SSD heatsinks, thereby enhancing heat dissipation. Furthermore, a version of the heatsink compatible with the newer, slimmer PlayStation 5 model (CFI-2000 series) is planned for future release.
