After months of anticipation and several delays, DICE has revealed that Battlefield 2042 Zero Hour Season 01 will commence on Thursday, September 9th.

The next season will include a new map, a new Specialist, and game-changing new weapons and gadgets to the player's armory. As part of the new Battlefield 2042 Battle Pass, these content additions are free for all players. Additional cosmetic items, such as legendary clothes and melee takedowns, can be gained with the Battle Pass's Premium version. Fans will be able to travel to the Canadian Rockies and navigate vertical terrain on the new Exposure map at Zero Hour. Within the tunnels and mountain trails, ground-to-air combat, as well as close infantry battles, await. When Season 1 is released, Exposure will be accessible in All-Out Warfare and Portal modes.

Ewelina Lis, Battlefield 2042's newest Specialist, will be introduced in the new season. She is a renowned vehicle destroyer who is extremely trained in detecting and removing ground and air armored personnel carriers. Lis's Missile Launcher, which fires remote-controlled missiles with perfect accuracy, and her essential Armored Hunter feature, which gives critical information, make her a formidable foe for any ground or air vehicle.

In addition to a new terrain and a new Specialist, Zero Hour will introduce new vehicles and things to capture. Pilot the new RAH-68 Huron and YG-99 Hannibal, both of which are outfitted with radar deflectors and modern defense systems. With the Ghostmaker R10 Crossbow, you may adapt to varied battle conditions by using ordinary, light, heavy, or explosive ammunition. With the BSV-M Sniper Rifle, perfect for medium-range warfare, you may eliminate your foes from afar in All-Out Warfare mode. Finally, employ the new Smoke Grenade Launcher in both offensive and defensive situations to create new opportunities and cover for your squad.

This season continues the patches that have been released since the release of Battlefield 2042, with fixes for aim stability, gameplay balance, gunplay, vehicle agility, performance, and other issues.
