Nvidia has expanded its GeForce Now service to include "Cloud G-Sync," an adaptive refresh rate feature designed to enhance gaming experiences across a variety of platforms, including Windows PCs powered by GeForce, as well as Apple PCs utilizing Apple Silicon, Intel CPUs, and Radeon Pro GPUs. This technology is integrated with Nvidia's Reflex technology to minimize system latency, providing a seamless variable refresh rate through the GeForce Now application. The application adjusts the monitor's refresh rate in accordance with the game's frame rate, optimizing performance.

To utilize Cloud G-Sync, users must install the native GeForce Now app on either Windows or macOS systems. The feature is currently exclusive to Nvidia's RTX 4080 Ultimate tier subscribers. Compatible hardware requirements include Nvidia's GTX 16 series or RTX 20 series GPUs for Windows users, or Apple PCs with supported configurations. G-Sync, G-Sync Compatible, or FreeSync displays are also compatible with this service on Windows.

Furthermore, Nvidia has introduced day passes for GeForce Now, providing temporary access to its cloud gaming service. These passes are designed for users seeking short-term gaming solutions or wishing to experience Nvidia's premium service offerings. There are two types of day passes available: Priority Day and Ultimate Day, mirroring the benefits of Nvidia's Priority and Ultimate subscriptions but limited to a 24-hour access period. Priority Day passes offer RTX-enabled server access, up to 6-hour gaming sessions, and 1080p 60 fps gaming for $3.99. Ultimate Day passes, priced at $7.99, provide access to RTX 4080-grade servers, up to 8-hour sessions, and support for 4K/ultrawide resolutions and up to 120 fps.

For detailed information, Nvidia has dedicated a support page to Cloud G-Sync.
