Following their Z790 release, MSI also announced the release of two new MicroATX motherboards: the "B760M PROJECT ZERO" and the "B650M PROJECT ZERO". These motherboards are notable for their rear connector layout and are designed to be paired with MSI's "MAG PANO M100R PZ" PC case. The "B650M PROJECT ZERO" motherboard is compatible with AMD Ryzen 8000/7000 series processors and features a Socket AM5 with an AMD B650 chipset in a white silver finish. It supports a 10+2+1 phase 80A SPS power delivery, maximizing CPU performance. The board includes a 6-layer PCB with a 2-ounce copper layer, a large heatsink extending to the I/O panel, and M.2 Shield Frozr to mitigate thermal throttling of M.2 SSDs. Specifications include DDR5 7600+ (OC) support, PCI Express 4.0 and 3.0 slots, dual M.2 slots, and four SATA 3.0 ports. Connectivity options include Realtek 2.5Gbps Ethernet, AMD Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.
