Minisforum has launched the HX100G, an addition to its Neptune series, following the HX99G mini PC. This model features an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS CPU, an upgrade from the 6900HX used in its predecessor. The HX100G incorporates a Ryzen 7840HS processor along with a Radeon RX 6650M discrete GPU, providing significant computing and graphical capabilities.

The product has an integrated Radeon 780M GPU with the Radeon RX 6650M, which includes 28 compute units and 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM, making it suitable for gaming applications. Despite changes in the CPU, the mini PC retains a similar form factor to its predecessors. It includes multiple connectivity options: two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPort ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, four USB 3.2 Type-A ports (with one Gen 2 and three Gen 1), a 2.5Gbit Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm audio jack, all within a compact frame of 205x203x69mm.

The HX100G offers customizable configurations, with options for a 1TB SSD and either 32GB or 64GB of DDR5-4800 memory. It also has two M.2 2280 slots for further expansion. The pre-sale price for the barebone version of the HX99G is set at 739, with the 32GB RAM+1TB SSD version priced at 939 and the 64GB RAM+1TB SSD version at 1039.
