CPU-Z have revealed the performance characteristics of AMD's Ryzen 7 8700G APU. The data, disclosed by the leaker @momomo_us on Twitter, presents an analysis of the APU's performance in comparison to its counterparts. In single-threaded benchmarks. The  AMD processors are outperformed by Intel's Core i7-12700KF.

The Ryzen 7 8700G underwent testing on an ASRock B650 Pro RS motherboard, complemented by 32 GB of DDR5-6400 memory with timings set at 32-39-39-102, and utilized the integrated Radeon 780M graphics for the evaluation. The operating system used was Windows 11, installed on a 500 GB Seagate BarraCuda 510 SSD. The APU achieved a score of 675 in single-threaded tests, marginally lower than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D's 683. For multi-threaded benchmarks, the APU scored 7318, slightly above the 7301 scored by the CPU. Notably, the APU's performance is achieved with a lower thermal design power (TDP) of 65W, compared to the CPU's 120W. The Core i7-12700KF, for context, scores an average of 7754 in multi-threaded tests.
