It seems that Intel is facing one more PR ordeal, as it turns out they have been shipping at least the Core i7-11700K Rocket Lake-S towards its customers (distributors), and from there onwards, they'll find their way to e-tailers, and then people posting benchmarks.

Somehow things like these are not even surprising anymore really, even the RTX 3060 last week was spotted in higher quantities in cryptocurrency mining farms as distributors were already selling the products. Core i7-11700K Rocket Lake-,S, however, still need to be officially announced; it is a processor series that falls under embargoes and is to be announced and then released later this month. But here we are; some lucky Germans are already have been installing them. Intel Core i7-11700K is Intel's new 8-core and 16-thread unclocked processor.

Germany-based Mindfactory, a retailer in Germany, is already selling the new CPUs and even stating no embargo has been breached in the process. The first customers already received the processor from them. We just checked and the listing does not seem to be present anymore, that or stock ran out. In several German forums from technology sites, you'll spot end-users chatting about the product, and posting their experiences. This all is extremely unusual as even this website is underIntel's embargo on exactly that content.

Mindfactory would/could still be offering the processor, however, it looks like stock went dry. We have grabbed a few screenshots posted at various forums from end-users that have obtained the processor.
