While Intel Xe can already be found in Mobile and Desktop processors from Intel, The reality is also that Intel is already a year late with the Desktop GPUs for dedicated graphics. A hard-line was Q4 2021, which shifted towards Q1 2022 all of the sudden.

As it seems this week intel has once again changed release information on their product pages.  Which is in one with the total lack of information about ARC this CES.  Although the concerns are based on a few minor modifications to Intel's Arc GPU web page, as noted by VideoCardz (or rather, one of the tech site's readers), we have to admit that the alterations are mildly concerning.

Where Intel originally stated "unleash your imagination with new Intel Arc graphics solutions, coming Q1 2022," the site has been updated to read "coming 2022"; in other words, the Q1 deadline has been dropped. At the moment, it appears as though Intel's highest-end discrete GPUs with 512 EUs for desktops will be delayed until the second quarter.

Intel's backtracking instills little confidence, all the more so given that the delay may be related to persistent component shortages. However, the company has scheduled a Vision event for May 10, indicating that its ambition to unveil a new GPU every year through 2025 may still materialize.

Meanwhile, AMD and NVIDIA are already sharpening their knives with new GPUs. Right now intel looks to be competitive enough towards the current lineup of GPUs. By the time that Intel releases it might be too little too late.
