HP made its debut in the QD OLED gaming monitor arena at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) with the introduction of the OMEN Transcend 32. This 32-inch diagonal display offers a formidable 4K resolution of 3840x2160 pixels and boasts an impressive maximum refresh rate of 240Hz. Notably, the OMEN Transcend 32 stands out for its comprehensive Key-Video-Mouse (KVM) functionality.

Harnessing the power of a 32-inch QD OLED panel, the OMEN Transcend 32 shares its specifications with other CES-revealed monitors like the MSI MPG 321URX and the Samsung Odyssey OLED G8. It delivers a peak brightness of 1000cd/m² in High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode and 250cd/m² in Standard Dynamic Range (SDR). HP proudly reports that this monitor covers an extensive 99 percent of the Display P3 color spectrum and an impressive 97.5 percent of AdobeRGB.

The monitor is equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and boasts a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. A unique feature is its support for Dolby Vision, setting it apart from the more conventional HDR10 format found in other monitors. The OMEN Transcend 32 combines these technical capabilities with a practical design, including a height-adjustable stand and customizable RGB lighting, which users can control through the OMEN Gaming Hub software. This software also manages the integrated speaker equalizer. HP offers peace of mind with a three-year warranty against panel burn-in.

In terms of connectivity, the OMEN Transcend 32 provides a DisplayPort 2.1 input, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB-C input with the capacity to deliver up to 140W of power to a connected laptop. An additional USB-C upstream port facilitates seamless switching between two source devices for the USB hub, comprising three USB-A ports and a high-speed 10Gbit/s USB-C port. HP's innovative switching functionality can be applied to the entire hub or individual USB ports, streamlining file sharing between connected devices.

HP has announced that the OMEN Transcend 32 will hit the market later this year.
