The sector of mini PCs is witnessing an expansion, and GEEKOM is establishing its presence by offering machines that are priced to compete, leveraging its collaborative efforts with ASUS. The company is gearing up to release a new mini host model featuring the R7 7840HS and R9 7940HS processors.

This upcoming device showcases a metal enclosure with a simplified aesthetic, dimensions of 112.4mm by 112.4mm by 37mm, and presents users with a choice between two advanced processors.

This mini host is designed to cater to a variety of user needs, providing multiple interfaces including HDMI, a fully functional USB-C port, and an SD card slot for added versatility. In a prior release, they unveiled the IT13 mini host, which is powered by the 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900H processor, indicating a trend toward incorporating high-performance CPUs in compact form factors.Further extending its mini PC lineup, they has announced plans for the Mini FUN11 host, which will be outfitted with an i9-11900KB processor and will support discrete graphics. Although specifics are still emerging, this unit is expected to be available in configurations using either the Ryzen 7 7840HS or Ryzen 9 7940HS processors. The device will also feature an aluminum body, a departure from the styling seen in the ASUS PN series.

Despite its small footprint, the new mini PC from GEEKOM is designed to offer comprehensive connectivity, including various USB ports, HDMI, and Ethernet connections, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of peripherals and networks. The initial launch is anticipated to take place in Asia, with plans for extending availability to global markets shortly after.

GEEKOM’s entry into the market with this mini PC comes as the industry already presents several similar hardware configurations, posing the challenge of setting competitive price points to maintain market relevance.
