LG Electronics unveiled the LG 34WR50QC-B, a 34-inch UWQHD (3,440 x 1,440 pixels) curved liquid crystal display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. This cutting-edge display is set to hit the market on September 27, 2023, with an estimated retail price of approximately $429



This LCD display is enhanced with specific features for optimized performance:

  • Resolution Augmentation: The "Super Resolution+" functionality enhances the clarity of low-resolution images from DVDs and Full HD sources.
  • Gaming Performance: The "DAS mode" is implemented to minimize game latency.
  • Visibility Enhancement: The "Black Stabilizer" improves the viewing experience in low-light scenes.
  • Synchronization Technology: Compatibility with AMD FreeSync ensures smooth visuals without screen tearing.

Delving into its technical specifications, the LCD panel utilized is of the VA type. It operates at a refresh rate of 100Hz and a response time of 5ms. The color accuracy is underpinned by an sRGB coverage of 99%. With a brightness level of 300cd/m^2, the contrast ratio stands at 3,000:1. Furthermore, the display supports a broad spectrum of 16.77 million colors.
