Ahead of Intel's release of the 14th Generation Core 'Raptor Lake Refresh' CPUs, MSI has incorporated an advanced clock boost feature titled 'P-Core Beyond 6 GHz' into its Z790 Ace Max motherboard. As indicated by @g01d3nm4ng0, this feature is engineered to push Intel's Raptor Cove cores past the standard 6 GHz mark.

The imminent Intel Core i9-14900K processor is expected to come with eight high-performance cores, with clock speeds potentially hitting 6 GHz, on par with the peak frequency of Intel's special edition Core i9-13900KS CPU. Recognizing the capacity for amplified performance in Intel's premier processors, MSI introduced the 'P-Core Beyond 6GHz+' enhancement.

Leveraging this feature, users have the ability to adjust the P-core clock speeds, reaching up to 6.3 GHz for single-core tasks and a maximum of 5.8 GHz across all cores. This adjustment enables the CPU to function at superior speeds in relation to Intel's standardized configurations, appealing particularly to the gaming community.

Emphasizing its proficiency in overclocking, the Z790 Ace Max stands as MSI's paramount motherboard tailored for Intel processors. With this pedigree, the endeavor to enable overclocking for Intel's Raptor Lake CPUs, pushing the boundaries beyond the conventional 6.0 GHz, is consistent with MSI's brand promise. The central point of intrigue is the consistency in which the Core i9-14900K processors will maintain the 6.30 GHz/5.80 GHz speeds. However, with appropriate thermal management, a significant proportion of these CPUs might consistently achieve these elevated frequencies. Intel has scheduled the official launch of its 14th Generation Core 'Raptor Lake Refresh' processors for October 17, 2023.
