Important: If you encounter issues with the overlay after updating, please perform a full uninstall of both RTSS and AfterBurner (including profile removal) and execute a clean installation.
- RTSS offers comprehensive framerate and frametime monitoring support for client applications, covering DirectX, OpenGL, and VULKAN applications. This information can be displayed via On-Screen Display or accessed by connected client applications.
- The server provides 3D acceleration usage statistics, allowing clients to detect active 3D applications and apply appropriate hardware profiles.
- On-Screen Display support is available for client applications, enabling the display of various text information in DirectX and OpenGL applications. RTSS can also be used as a standalone solution for framerate monitoring.
- Screen capture capabilities are included, with BMP, PNG, and JPG formats supported for both desktop and in-game captures.
- High-performance real-time video capture is available for desktop and in-game scenarios, featuring uncompressed, high-quality custom RTV1 and native MJPG video encoding.
