Compucase, headquartered in Taiwan, has announced the domestic release of their COUGAR brand Mini-ITX case, COUGAR Dust 2. This new model, "Dust 2 2022 Version," was globally released on July 30, 2021, but the difference in specifications between this version and the previous one is not yet clear.

The exterior of the COUGAR Dust 2 features sandblasted aluminum on both the front and rear panels, with a unique texture and design achieved through a bending process rather than a flat surface. A carry handle is also provided to appeal to those looking for a portable PC. Inside, the case has separate spaces for the graphics card and CPU/power supply unit, each with an airflow layout that considers exhaust heat for stable operation. The case has dimensions of 175mm width, 403mm depth, and 335mm height (including handle), with the ability to install graphics cards up to 330mm in length, CPU coolers up to 70mm in height, and power supply units up to 160mm in depth.

The cooling fan layout includes two standard 120mm fans on the top, with two 2.5 inch shadow bays and one 3.5 inch shadow bay for storage. The case can also accommodate a 280mm size radiator. The product also comes with a PCIe (x16) Gen 3 compatible riser card. Sales will begin on January 27th, with no official market price announced yet.
