Cooler Master has launched the GA2501 monitor, engineered to fulfill basic display needs. This monitor is equipped with a 24.5-inch IPS panel, offering a 1920 x 1080 resolution. It provides a 100 Hz refresh rate over HDMI and 75 Hz through VGA, the latter inclusion serving to support older connectivity options. The GA2501's design is uncomplicated, emphasizing practicality with limited adjustability. Its stand permits a tilt range from -5° to 15°, addressing fundamental ergonomic requirements.

From a performance standpoint, the GA2501 delivers a brightness of 250 nits and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. It features a 4 ms (GtG) / 1 ms (MPRT) response time for fluid motion. Additionally, it offers broad viewing angles of 178° both horizontally and vertically, ensuring consistent image quality from various viewpoints reports cowcotland.

The monitor achieves satisfactory color accuracy, with an 84% DCI-P3, 84% Adobe RGB, and 109% sRGB coverage, making it versatile for everyday use and certain tasks that demand color precision. A distinctive aspect of the GA2501 is its inclusion of a joystick that also functions as the power switch, streamlining the interface navigation—a convenience borrowed from Cooler Master's premium models. Priced at around €110 in Europe, equivalent to approximately 122 USD, the GA2501 is positioned as an affordable choice for consumers looking for essential monitor features without the extras offered by more advanced units.
