Biostar releases A620MS MicroATX Motherboard for Ryzen 8000G Series

BIOSTAR announced the release of the A620MS MicroATX motherboard on March 15, 2024. This motherboard is designed to support the AM5 socket and is compatible with the AMD A620 entry-level chipset. It features an 8-phase power supply circuit and supports CPUs with up to 170W TDP, including the Ryzen 9 7950X. The A620MS is also compatible with AMD's latest APU lineup, the Ryzen 8000G series, right out of the box. The A620MS motherboard offers two DDR5-6000+ memory slots supporting up to 96GB, along with four SATA 3.0 ports and a single M.2 slot (PCI Express 4.0 x 4) for storage. For expansion, it includes one PCI Express 4.0 (x16) slot and one PCI Express 3.0 (x1) slot.

Network connectivity is provided by a gigabit LAN port using the Realtek RTL8111H controller. Display outputs consist of one HDMI port and one DisplayPort. The motherboard also features the Realtek ALC897 audio chip. With dimensions of 221 x 235 mm, the A620MS includes a "SMART BIOS UPDATE" feature, enabling straightforward BIOS updates via a USB drive. This technical advancement simplifies the process of keeping the motherboard's firmware up-to-date, ensuring compatibility with the latest processors and software enhancements.
