Bethesda has deployed a significant beta update for Starfield, marked as version 1.10.30, to Steam Beta participants. This update is poised to be the most comprehensive beta release for the game to date, incorporating a plethora of new features alongside a broad array of bug corrections addressing quests, graphics, gameplay, and beyond. Key features introduced in this update encompass a new photomode, a scanner functionality, field of view adjustments for third-person ship views, a quality slider for anisotropic filtering, a new autosave feature, and enhancements to the ship's user interface. From a graphical standpoint, the update provides solutions for NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR issues, rectifies various flickering problems, and delivers numerous enhancements related to shadow quality and overall performance. Furthermore, the update addresses several gameplay and quest-related issues that had been identified in prior iterations of the game.

The update is currently accessible through the Steam Beta program and is anticipated to be officially released to all users in a forthcoming update.
