I doubt they can pull off what CDPR did with Cyberpunk, but I wish them well regardless. I would certainly like to play Starfield one day, when it is truly patched and ready. Cyberpunk went from a dog turd of a game (for me anyway) to one of my all-time favourite titles, and cosidering I've been gaming for nearly 40 years now, that's quite the achievement. Beth has the resources, but I wonder if they have the perseverance.

I'm just asking, this seems to be pretty much 6 months after the game's release? That it now gets DLSS? Is that possible?

10 years from now this will be awesome, i'm sure of it!

I understand now why it takes Bethesda Game Studios basically a decade to make a video game.

Technical issues aside, I think as AuerX pointed out, one of the key problems is content (or lack thereof).
Despite its disastrous launch, CP2077 did have a compelling story that - provided you actually role played it and did most of the side-quests and missions - did tug at all the (cliched, but still) right heart strings. And it all neatly tied up in the end - again, as long as you understood that in Night City there are no happy endings - something the writers constantly reminded you of, if you were willing to listen. Add to that very competent (and at time brilliant) voice work and spectacular visuals and it's no surprise people were willing to give it another go, and then shower it with positive reviews.
From what I've read and heard of Starfield, the story is your bog-standard unimaginative Bethesda slop. Now obviously I'm keeping an open mind and willing to give it a try when the performance and bugs are ironed out, but if the story isn't there, it won't matter. There's a reason most of us preferred F:NV to F3.

as someone modding bethesda games since 2006 game was doa I knew that watching my 1st stream of it and I didn't even try it on gamepass even tough I've got more than 15'000hrs of fallout 3ds and elder scrolls
- it's not an open world and the freedom of movement and admiring beautiful landscapes matters a lot
- it's empty..something that fallout 4 wether you disliked it or not did very well, everywhere you found something there was something to see even a skeleton..something that rewards your exploration
- dialogs seem ai generated text and sound
- the big modders want an audience feel like their mod is used and praised and no one is playing this
- the outer worlds does more and better
- watching youtubers bash random ugly animals over the head for hours to have something to do was the most patethic thing I've seen on stream
