Faster and faster. BenQ has unveiled the Zowie XL2586X, a 24-inch gaming monitor capable of a 540 Hz refresh rate. This high refresh rate is achieved using a rapid TN panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio. Additionally, BenQ is offering a 240Hz variant aimed at consumers seeking a more cost-effective option. The XL2586X is designed specifically for competitive gaming. It features Fast TN technology, which assists players in quickly recovering from flashbang effects in shooting games, thereby enhancing enemy visibility.

The monitor incorporates DyAc 2 technology, employing dual backlights to minimize motion blur and improve image accuracy. BenQ has also focused on user-friendly design elements. The monitor includes high-quality bearings for smooth and rapid adjustments in screen height, up to 155 millimeters. Ergonomic features include a tilt range of -5° to 35° and a swivel capability of 45°. Connectivity options include three HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a headphone jack.

The Zowie XL2546X model, with a 240 Hz refresh rate, is anticipated for release in January at a retail price of $500 (approximately 553 euros including VAT). The release date and price for the XL2586X are yet to be confirmed, although a brief mention on the manufacturer's website suggested a price of $499(around 550 euros).
