ASUSTOR Releases Three New NAS Products with Enhanced CPU Performance

ASUSTOR has unveiled three new products, including the entry-level NAS model DRIVESTOR 2 Lite, featuring significantly improved CPU performance. Additionally, two high-end entry-level models will be simultaneously launched. 



The DRIVESTOR 2 Lite serves as an introductory NAS model equipped with essential functionalities. It boasts a Realtek RTD1619B CPU clocked at 1.7GHz, featuring four cores, which represents a substantial enhancement in CPU performance. The built-in memory is 1GB of DDR4, onboard and non-expandable. This device accommodates two 3.5-inch HDDs and offers interfaces such as Gigabit LAN x 1, USB 3.2 Gen1 x 1, and USB 2.0 x 1. Its dimensions measure 102mm in width, 218mm in depth, 165mm in height, and it weighs approximately 1.14kg.

In addition ASUSTOR is introducing the "DRIVESTOR 2 Pro Gen2," a high-end model within the entry-level series designed to facilitate the creation of high-speed private clouds. This model features a 4-core Realtek RTD1619B CPU clocked at 1.7GHz and includes 2GB of built-in DDR4 memory, which is non-expandable. The "DRIVESTOR 2 Pro Gen2" can accommodate either two 3.5-inch HDDs or two 2.5-inch SSDs/HDDs. Its interfaces comprise 2.5 Gigabit LAN x 1 and USB 3.2 Gen1 x 3. The dimensions of this model are 114mm in width, 230mm in depth, 170mm in height, with a weight of 1.6kg.



Lastly, the "DRIVESTOR 4 Pro Gen2" represents a 4-bay model that serves as an upgraded version of the entry-level series. Its specifications and interfaces align with the "DRIVESTOR 2 Pro Gen2," featuring the Realtek RTD1619B CPU at 1.7GHz and 2GB of built-in DDR4 memory, which is non-expandable. The dimensions of the "DRIVESTOR 4 Pro Gen2" measure 174mm in width, 230mm in depth, 170mm in height, with a weight of 2.2kg.
