ASUS Releases Water-Cooled Gaming Desktop PCs: ROG Strix G16CH and ROG G22CH Series

ASUS introduced two new gaming desktop PC models on November 17, 2023. These models, the ROG Strix G16CH and the ROG G22CH series, feature water-cooled systems.  It is designed with a 240mm all-in-one water cooling unit and incorporates a mesh front panel with RGB lighting capabilities. The system also includes additional functional accessories such as a carrying strap and a headset hanger.

ROG Strix G16CH (Model: G16CH-1370KF035X):

In terms of technical specifications, the ROG Strix G16CH is equipped with an Intel Core i7-13700KF processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GDDR6X 16GB graphics card. It includes 32GB of DDR4 memory (3200MHz, expandable to 64GB), a 1TB M.2 SSD, and a 2TB HDD. An 850W 80PLUS GOLD certified power supply provides energy to the system. For connectivity, it offers 2.5 Gigabit wired LAN, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.1. The dimensions are 184.2mm wide, 425.2mm deep, and 523.0mm high, with a weight of approximately 11.0kg. The ROG Strix G16CH is priced at $2949. 

ROG G22CH Series:

Processor options for the series are the Core i9-13900KF in the G22CH-1390KF077W model and the Core i7-13700KF in the G22CH-1370KF138W model. Both configurations include an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GDDR6X 12GB graphics card and come with 32GB of DDR5 memory (4800MHz, with a maximum supported capacity of 32GB). Storage is provided by a 1TB M.2 SSD. Power is supplied by a 600W 80PLUS GOLD certified unit. Connectivity options are the same as the G16CH model, including 2.5 Gigabit wired LAN, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.1. The dimensions for these PCs are 115mm wide, 323mm deep, and 286.9mm high, and they weigh approximately 8.0kg. The ROG G22CH series features two models: the G22CH-1390KF077W priced at 399,800 yen and the G22CH-1370KF138W at $2269. These models are housed within a compact 10-liter chassis with a water cooling system and offer interchangeable metal and clear side panels.
