ASUS Introduces 39-Inch UWQHD Curved Gaming Display with Some Serious Specifications

ASUS announced the launch of the 39-inch curved gaming display, ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM, featuring an Ultra-Wide Quad HD (UWQHD) resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. This display incorporates a high-speed OLED panel that delivers a response time of 0.03 milliseconds and a refresh rate of 240Hz. It adheres to VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black standards for superior dynamic range. The display is equipped with several technologies designed to enhance the gaming experience. It includes ASUS OLED Care to prevent screen burn-in, ROG Smart KVM for controlling two PCs with a single keyboard, mouse, and display setup, and facilitates file transfers between connected PCs. It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatibility, and AdaptiveSync, ensuring smooth, tear-free visuals across varying frame rates.

Technical specifications highlight an 800R screen curvature, color accuracy with 99% DCI-P3 and 135% sRGB coverage, a peak brightness of 450cd/m^2, and an exceptional contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1. The display boasts around 1.0737 billion colors and offers wide viewing angles of 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically.

Connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and USB Type-C with DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The adjustable stand supports -5 to 20 degrees tilt, -15 to 15 degrees swivel, and 0 to 80mm height adjustment. The monitor conforms to a standard 100 x 100 mm VESA mount and measures 890mm in width, 318mm in depth, and 575mm in height, with a weight of 9.61 kg.
