ASUS availability of the PA329CRV, PA279CRV, and PA248CRV ProArt displays

ASUS has announced the release of three new monitors: ProArt Display PA329CRV, PA279CRV, and PA248CRV. The PA329CRV features a 31.5-inch 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) panel, while the PA279CRV offers a 27-inch 4K UHD panel.

The PA248CRV comes with a 24.1-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) panel. All monitors undergo factory calibration and Calman testing, ensuring Delta E < 2 color accuracy and at least 97% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Connectivity options include DisplayPort™ over USB-C® with 96-watt power delivery, a standard DisplayPort, HDMI®, and a USB hub. The monitors are designed with sustainability in mind, meeting global environmental standards such as EPEAT Gold, ENERGY STAR®, and TCO. Additionally, the packaging is made from recyclable paper.

Enhanced Color Accuracy for Video Editors

The ProArt Display PA329CRV, PA279CRV, and PA248CRV monitors are ideal for video editors. The PA279CRV offers a 27-inch 4K UHD panel with 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and Adobe RGB color space. The PA248CRV, with its compact 24.1-inch 16:10 (1920 x 1200) panel, provides 97% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The largest model in the range, the PA329CRV, boasts a 31.5-inch 4K UHD panel with 98% coverage of DCI-P3.

Optimized Productivity and Workspace Organization

These monitors offer extensive connectivity options, including DisplayPort over USB-C with 96-watt power delivery, standard DisplayPort, HDMI ports, and a USB hub. Users can connect multiple devices simultaneously, simplifying their workstations. The USB-C port allows high-speed data transfers, audio-video signal transfers, and charging or powering options for MacBooks or Windows laptops. The integrated USB 3.2 hub at the bottom of the display provides additional connectivity with USB Type-A and USB-C ports, catering to a variety of devices and peripherals.

The ProArt Display PA329CRV, PA279CRV, and PA248CRV monitors meet leading sustainability certifications such as EPEAT Gold, ENERGY STAR®, and TCO. ASUS ensures independent verification of all tests conducted on its products and continuously improves its sustainability practices. The monitors feature energy-saving eco mode and consume zero watts when the power switch is off. At least 85% of the monitors' plastic is made from post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, and the panels are mercury-free. The packaging, made from at least 80% recycled cardboard, is designed to minimize weight and bulk, reducing the environmental impact of shipping.

Streamlined Design for a Distinctive Look

Compared to previous models, the ProArt displays PA329CRV, PA279CRV, and PA248CRV feature a new design with a 33% smaller base and a 30% slimmer profile, measuring just 8mm at its thinnest point. The ergonomic stand offers tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments for comfortable viewing. The ability to rotate the screen 90° in portrait mode is particularly useful for tasks like working with long documents or programming. The displays can be easily detached from the stand and mounted on VESA wall mounts without screws.
