ASUS Announces ROG Strix XG27WCS: 27-Inch Curved WQHD Gaming Monitor with Fast VA Panel

ASUS introduced the ROG Strix XG27WCS, a 27-inch curved WQHD gaming monitor, utilizing a Fast VA panel. This new offering from ASUS supports a high refresh rate of 180Hz and a response time of 1ms (GTG), aimed at delivering swift and fluid visuals. It is compatible with AMD FreeSync technology, enhancing gaming experiences by minimizing screen tearing and stuttering. In addition to these features, the ROG Strix XG27WCS comes equipped with ELMB Sync functionality, designed to work alongside synchronization technology to provide clear visuals without ghosting or tearing.

The monitor boasts a curvature of 1500R and offers a wide color gamut with 125% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 coverage, ensuring vibrant and accurate color reproduction. It also features a brightness level of 400cd/m², a contrast ratio of 3,000:1, and supports 16.7 million display colors. The viewing angles are 178° both horizontally and vertically, ensuring consistent visuals from various perspectives.

For eye comfort, the monitor includes flicker-free technology and a low blue light filter. Additional features such as AI-driven GamePlus and dynamic shadow boost are also part of its design, enhancing gaming and viewing experiences. Connectivity options include one USB Type-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode, one DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.0, and an earphone jack. The stand offers a tilt range of -5 to 20 degrees, swivel from -35 to 35 degrees, and height adjustment from 0 to 120mm. The dimensions of the monitor are 611mm in width, 219mm in depth, and 370mm in height, with a weight of 7.1kg.
